We are glad you found Christian Bible Bites, the site dedicated to spreading the gospel to the world. You can read everything we publish here, by following the links in the top menu, or you can visit our YouTube channel and listen to everything as well. You will also find direct links from each page to it’s corresponding YouTube video. Our weekly sermons can also be found on your favorite podcasting platform.
What is Christian Bible Bites?
A place for you to find out more about Jesus Christ.
- Are you born again? Then this is the place for you.
- Are you curious about who Jesus Christ is, and what it means to be saved? Then you are in the right place.
- Are you a long time Christian, who may only be lukewarm in your faith? We are so happy you are here.
- Are you a devout Christian, living in your spiritual body and doing as Jesus commanded? Then welcome.
How do we Help?
In addition to this site and corresponding videos, we also provide spiritual mentorship, food and clothing to the poor, widows and orphans living here in Guadalajara and across all Mexico. Know that any and every dollar/peso you provide to our ministry will be used to service this mission.
Psalm 68:5 tells us, “Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.”
James 1:27 says, “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”
Many of the “orphans” we help are actually growing up in single mother homes. Many do not get food on a daily basis, and most need clothing to wear. To this end, we provide breakfast to many of the children in our neighborhood. We also provide food for lunches to be eaten while they are at school.
We also provide dispensas (basis food and toiletries, such as beans, rice and sugar & soap, toothpaste and shampoo) to several widows and other poor families who have trouble making ends meet.
How can YOU help?
There are several paths to supporting our ministry here in Mexico, listed below:
- Pray for us – remembering us in your daily prayers lets God know we are loved and supported by others.
- Subscribe to our YouTube channel – by liking and commenting on our videos, more people will be exposed to our content, helping the channel grow and convert more people to Jesus Christ.
- Volunteer in Your community – there are people in need within a few miles of wherever you live, and helping them is part of your Christian calling.
- Provide us with Food and Clothing to be redistributed – If you are in Guadalajara, or plan to visit, we accept donations of used clothing and any non-perishable food goods, as well as toiletries.
- Buy our Books on amazon – we published “Growing Closer to God”, and will also be grouping my sermons by category and publishing them as well.
Regardless of how you help, know that any/all donations of goods and monies will be used toward our mission of serving the poor, orphans and widows in Mexico, and potentially across all of Latin America. We are retired, and living on government pensions, so we have no need for worldly treasures.
What this site offers?
Our site and videos are ever evolving, but here is the current schedule:
- Sunday: We publish a sermon each Sunday, in the form of a blog post here, a YouTube video here, and as a podcast here.
- Monday: We publish a “Who is?” in the bible short form video and blog post so you can learn more about the more famous people of the bible.
- Tuesday: Many have asked for an uplifting meditation, so each Tuesday we publish a Psalm to contemplate upon while listening to Christian Worship Music.
- Wednesday: For those interested specifically in the words of Jesus, we have created a Christian guided meditation for a specific verse of Jesus’ actual words to his disciples.
- Thursday: We publish a verse from Proverbs, with it’s meaning for you to better understand how to live a Christian life.
- Friday: “What does the bible say about …” each week addresses another concept that people often search for what the bible says, so they may act accordingly.
- Saturday: We rest on the Sabbath. Although we are not Jewish, nor do we feel the need to comply with the laws of Moses (we have been saved by the grace of God by believing that his Son Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins past, present and future; and rose again on the third day to fulfill old testament scripture), we strive to follow the Word of God and rest at least one day a week.
Other Christian Works in Progress
When I have time, I record individual chapters of books of the bible. When I have recorded all the chapters of a given book, I combine them into a single long play video. Yes, these are longer than the typical Christian Bible Bites. The goal is to have a complete audio recording of the bible. Dues to copyright issues, I am recording the words from the original King James Version (KJV) of the bible. Yes, the language is a bit outdated, but the holy spirit comes along to make sure you understand it’s meaning.
Final blessing
May God Bless You, Jesus Save You and the Holy Spirit fill your heart with Love, Peace and Understanding. Thank you for visiting our site. Hope to see you in heaven soon!
